For over 20 years I have practiced and worked with healing paths, yoga and sound. I combine elements of these modalities into breathwork and sound healing sessions - a powerful practice for releasing tension, creating inner space and transformation.
Breath carries life force energy. In every moment breath ~ life ~ is flowing through our bodies. Like the ever present waves of the ocean, in and out, pausing in the stillness in between. We breathe and yet, we are also being breathed by life. Until our last breath, when our spirit is released, from our body...
As babies, we are soft and open, and breathe naturally and fully in our bellies. As we grow and encounter challenges stress, and traumas in life that we are not able to release, this can cause us to tighten and store that tension in our bodies. The tension impacts the flow of the breath which can become constricted, weak or shallow. As this happens, our life force energy can no longer freely flow through our bodies - like water that is dammed or stagnating in a river.
At the heart of many traditions around the world are practices of working with the breath, to relax the body, clear our mind and energy and expand our consciousness. Working with breathing practices is a potent way to let go, cleanse, to go beyond the mental thoughts, and connect with our intuition - inner-knowing.
Breathwork & Sound Healing Sessions
Working with your intent and your breath; guided by voice and journeying with sound, I guide you through inner landscapes encouraging you to let go, and retrieve lost soul parts through the breath. We may work with different breathing practices, or focus mainly on one. You will be gently guided in breathing healing and compassion into the spaces within and breathing to release heavy energies and negative influences; breathing into stillness, into your being, from where healing and insight arise.
Held within a sacred ceremony space, calling upon the assistance of the divine, ancestors & guides, I work with a variety of healing tools, smudging, voice, drumming, rattle, crystal singing bowls, and music to facilitate your sound and breathwork journey.

Some Contraindications for Breathwork:
• Cardiovascular problems
• High or abnormal blood pressure
• Epilepsy or history of seizures
• Anyone on heavy medication, must consult with your doctor first
• Severe psychiatric symptoms or mental illness
• Recent surgery
• Pregnancy (must practice gently only)
